Synopsis

The Frantz series centres around the friendship – against all odds – between two boys.

Frantz is chubby, content and self-contained. Karl is skinny, morose and a bit of a bully.

One day, Karl tries to tease Frantz, but he quickly realises that he shouldn’t have done that. The encounter sets off a fight, but it also becomes the beginning of a friendship. Because even if the boys are very different, they do have things in common.

The Frantz series tackles both big and small topics at children’s level such as friendship, jealousy, first love, death, difficult family backgrounds and not least the importance of integrity and the ability to draw a line – also towards ones best friend.
