Rasmus Bregnhøi is one of the best illustrators in Denmark with a recognizable and entertaining style. He was shortlisted for the Deutscher Jugendbuchpreis for his artwork in the Mira series, written by his partner, Sabine Lemire. He has also illustrated numerous books by other authors, including Peter Nordahl's charming picture book series, Something Happens to an Animal. Inventions, knitted Beanies and a Mean Cat is Rasmus' own creation and won the Blixen Prize: The translation rights thus far sold include Chinese Complex, Italian, Korean and Spanish.
