Synopsis
Mama Twig kisses Little Twig on the forehead. 'Sleep well, pumpkin, sweet dreams and remember that I love you'. 'But I cannot sleep right now', Twiggy whines. 'Why not?', asks Mama Twig. Little Twig thinks hard. 'There is too much up here', she says and points at her head.
Let's go back to basics with Little Twig, the charming creation of the talented author/illustrator, Elvira Fragola. Written in the tradition of Guess How Much I Love You, the emphasis is on the closeness of parent and child, the importance of nature, the comfort of traditions.
Little Twig loves life so much that it is difficult to let go of it when it is time to sleep. Mama Twig luckily understands and they talk about the moon and the seasons and all the things they love to do. Until Little Twig curls up and falls asleep.
