Fanney Sizemore is a Reykjavík based illustrator and graphic designer, currently working in the props department at the Reykjavík City Theatre.
Fanney studied graphic design and illustration at the Iceland University of the Arts, Berlin University of the Arts and at the Academy of Fine Arts Jan Matejko in Krakow.
Since her graduation, Fanney has worked on numerous projects in graphic design, illustration, set design, costume design and props making. She worked for several years at a kindergarten and has read hundreds of children's books. She loves drawing for children and I am the Corona Virus is the fourth children's book that she has illustrated.
Fanney's illustrations are very playful and humorous. She gets a lot of inspiration from her everyday life and the theatre. She believes everyday should be an adventure and likes to pay attention to the small but joyful things in life. Her hobbies include lindy hop dancing, hiking in nature, playing dungeons and dragons, travelling and hanging out with her cat, Kisi.
